We went to a baby shower and they had a surprise for the kids!

Caleb loved swatting the pinata and was thrilled to come away with a handful of candy!  

It was a long night, but thankfully doctor said nothing is broken.

April Fools!!!!  =)

We had a little fun with this and if we got you...don't be mad...the concept of April Fools backfired on me as Caleb's idea of it was to make up as many knock knock jokes as possible ALL day long!  =)  But one of the best April Fools days was 5 years ago.  It was a Wednesday and Bruce and I were eating (I was devouring) a pizza at Padrino's, I was 11 weeks pregnant and we realized what a fun opportunity we had!  We had chosen to wait until 12 weeks to tell our church family, but couldn't resist the opportunity of it being April Fools day! And oh what a day it was!  Being married almost 12 years, no one was believing us and the ones who thought it might be true....(heehee) had Bruce cornered and were threatening his life! So many happy tears on a day where laughter abounded.

but it's hard picking the right ones.

 When we told our little guy about roller skating, there was a 2 second pause, then a question, "How do I stop?"  His dad promptly pulled up a roller skating basics video, which was put into practice immediately upon entering the rink.  This is what you do when you fall.

We have LOTS of time since Dad is on an ordination panel today....

 A beautiful Saturday was used to the fullest!  

Which was good, since we had snow and ice again on Sunday night!

Ok, HUGE treat!  Caleb actually ordered this on his own, and when asked how to spell his name.....HE ACTUALLY SPELLED IT FOR THEM!!!!  I almost bought him two cookies just for that!  =)

So thankful for a gym during these cold snowy days...

yes, they are doing lunges, we are hard core!  =)
