Dad and Caleb gave Mom the night off...but they seem to have so much fun without her!

I'm not sure the last time I ate MM's one at a time! This container of mini MM's seems endless when you only eat a few every day and there is not much that beats the smile on your child's face when he asks "treat, mom?" and you pull out the MM's!

Boxes and marker caps...really? I put away some of Caleb's Christmas presents and have started bringing them out. Tuesday was a box of blocks....he literally dragged that box around ALL day (and it is still usually close by). Wedensday, I was so excited about his new crayola markers that only mark on special paper! After two scribbles he took off the caps and put them on his fingers to play. I was crazy frustrated and almost mad..."You are supposed to be loving using your new markers!" Well, he was, just in his own way! I love you, son!

We have tried hard on helping Caleb understand the real meaning of Christmas. A two year old really can comprehend a lot! He knew it was Baby Jesus' birthday and that this was Jesus' Daddy and Mommy. We even wrapped a gift for Him! It was sweet to hear him get excited and say "Baby Jesus" every time we saw a manger scene this season, and a great reminder that I should be as excited too!


Christmas morning we had the pleasure of listening to a peppy version of "Jesus Loves Me" on his new drums.

Caleb and Cousin Elaina had a TON of fun over Christmas. They are going to be great pals!

Caleb didn't need much help opening presents, but once he got a new Veggie Tale DVD there was no going back!

Drake paused just long enough for a picture...the blur would be our son in hyperdrive! :)


Drake was the delivery man for a life size monkey from PaPaw Bernie and MaMaw Kathy.
